The Training Course “Botulinum Toxin Injections in the Treatment of Spasticity, Dystonia and Migraine” is organized by the Laboratory of Physiology and the Department of Neurology, on a regular basis, in the city of Ioannina, Greece.

It is an advanced hands-on course, addressed to Neurologists, Orthopaedics and Physiatrists, indenting to provide detailed information on the use of Botulinum Toxin for the management of spasticity of upper and lower extremities, focal dystonia and migraine, hosted in the facilities of University of Ioannina and University Hospital of Ioannina.
The workshop includes an in-depth anatomy review of the muscles that are usually injected with botulinum toxin. It combines interactive presentations on ultrasound guidance of botulinum toxin injections, with hands-on injection training on models and patients, in small groups up to 7 trainees.
